((again, given it involves a character from the Hellblazer fandom, I don’t think a warning is necessary as the fact that it’s Stanley should be warning enough.  I’m not unsympathetic of survivors, I promise, but this is an rp blog and the comment wasn’t meant as an insult or to make light of the subject—in fact I got the impression that Charles was legit upset about it, which he should be, because Stanley is a creep.  I can see how it might be offensive if Charles had been all ‘OMG YAY’ but he was more like ‘DNW’))

((Yes, but in all fairness, someone who has no idea you’re both RP blogs, from the Hellblazer and XMFC fandoms respectfully, could come across that and be triggered regardless. You both do very good jobs of writing your characters, but as a lot of people have pointed out, intent is not magical.

I think a trigger warning is probably best, in the header, so that people who run across the post on their dashboard are warned as to what’s coming and can avoid it if possible.))

((I don’t want to ruin anybody’s experience! You’re both very talented writers and obviously having a lot of fun with this. I do think the trigger warning is a good idea, just in case anybody gets hurt or offended, but I’m not a rape survivor or really part of this argument, so I’ll leave that there.
